Dominators Den fighters excel in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Cedric (The Dominator) Doyle won the U/70kg blue belt category.

SECUNDA – Three fighters from The Dominators Den competed in the South African Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s competition on 27 May in Springs.

Cedric (The Dominator) Doyle won the U/70kg blue belt category.

Paul (Piksteel) Ronge came third in the U/70kg white belt category and Kerwin de Waal won a silver medal in the U/64kg white belt category.

Cedric said: “I am very proud of the guys. They worked hard and showed a lot of discipline.

“The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is, for me, the best of all the traditional martial arts.

“The focus is more on ground fighting and you win by either submitting your opponent or by choking him.

“It is the best unarmed self defense there is.

“All the glory goes to God who blessed us with the talent to fight and that there where no injuries.”
