Sasol’s Highveld sevens champs will battle for Mpumalanga cup
The battle for the Pumas Cup continues this weekend when teams from the Highveld tournament, including Sasol 1, Highveld from eMalahleni and Middelburg will be taking on the winning teams from the Lowveld.
Sasol’s first team again won the Sevens Highveld Cup on Saturday, 10 February.
The tournament was held at Witbank High School in eMalahleni (Witbank) as part of the greater Pumas Sevens Cup Tournament.
Sasol had three teams competing in the quarter finals. The third team won the plate finals. The Sasol 1 team beat Middelburg by 14-12 in the final battle for the Highveld Cup.
