Sasol Grip and Rip Rugby Club thrashes Middelburg in Secunda home game
The first team beat Middelburg 57–14.
Both Sasol Grip and Rip’s first and second rugby teams pummeled Middelburg in their league games played at the Sasol Recreational Club in Secunda on Friday night, May 19.
The icy chill in the air did not stop the second team from leading in the first half with a score of 17–0.
Leaving no room for Middelburg to score, the second team won by 48–0.
The first team also came out victorious by scoring the first try in the first half with a halftime score of 36–14.
They beat Middelburg with a final score of 57–14.
The Sasol Rugby Club will be hosting a fundraiser for their club at the Oregon Spur in the Secunda Mall on Wednesday, May 24, at 18:00.
They are calling on all their supporters to come and support this cause.
