Figure skaters receive trophies at ceremony in Bronkhorstspruit
There were 13 award categories with 31 finalists and 13 winners.
GNFSA hosted its GNFSA Awards Ceremony 2021 at African Blessings, outside of Bronkhorstspruit.
More than 100 people attended the event.
There were 13 award categories with 31 finalists and 13 winners.
Special guests were Mr Winston Meyer, the president of Tshwane Sports Council, Ms Moonira Ramathula, the vice-president of Gauteng Sports Confederation and Mr Christo Viljoen, the vice-president of SAFSA.
The GNFSA winners include Junior Solo Skater – Division A: Leah Snyman, Junior Solo Skater – Division B -Taria Coetzee; Senior Solo Skater – Division A – Megan Timmerman; Senior Solo Skater – Division B – Hannelore Ahrens; Junior Ice Dancer of the Year – Claire Walker; Senior Ice Dancer of the Year -Jaydean Brits; Adult Skater of the Year – Heather Mc Cullah; Newcomer of the Year – Kira Meyer; Male Skater of the Year – Vincent Grun; Sportsmanship Award – Mathilda du Plessis; Administrator of the Year – Hayley Walker; Skaters’ Skater of the Year – Megan Timmerman and the Chairperson’s Award – Tristané Schmulian.
