Isandla Awards promotes traditional Zion gospel music
Choirs nominated for various categories.
eMBALENHLE – The fourth annual Isandla Awards will be held at the Maphala Gulube Primary School at 11am on 28 June.
This is aimed at honouring choirs that sing traditional Zion gospel music in the Govan Mbeki municipal area and outside Mpumalanga.
11 choirs were nominated ifor various categories.
These are Intsindiso Yabasha, New Highway to Heaven Church, Glorious Gospel Mass, Ukukhanya Kwe Christian Church, Holy Singers Mass, Revival of Joy Mass, Christian Star National Church, Mighty Vision Mass, the Holy Catholic Inkanzimulo Church, Abaphathi Benfihlakalo Mass Choirs and Ukuphila Kwesindiso Mass Choir.
Tickets cost R25 at the door and R30 for pre-bookings.
