Secunda Spring Party a success
Local event planners came together to organise the Secunda Spring Party on 10 September, bringing various national artists to perform at the Lillian Ngoyi Stadium.
SECUNDA – The Secunda Spring Party was a 12 hour festival of local music, entertainment and party vibes on 10 September at the Lillian Ngoyi Stadium.
The Secunda Spring Party is the brain child of Mr Mongezi Masombuka, a local event planner, music enthusiast and entrepreneur and was organised by a collaboration between his company, Skomplaas Entertainment, and Mastertainment.
Various local and national artists performed and the party-goers were treated to non-stop music and excitement.
The spring party theme was evident in the choice of outfits and bright colours, florals and flower-crowns were the order of the day.
There was a photo booth and various concession stands, and nearly 20 artists performed during the course of the evening.
Security at the party was tight, with private security and local police working hand in hand to keep party-goers safe.
About 3 000 people attended this out-door party and the organisers are excited about the future of the Secunda Spring Party brand.
