Oncemore takes career further

Do not miss the Just Jesus concert on Saturday, 25 February from 6.30pm

BETHAL – Oncemore Six, a local gospel singer, is climbing the ladder of success in the gospel music industry.

He will be hosting a gospel show that will feature national artists such as Past Phil and Tebs David.

The show, Just Jesus, will be held at the Greater Harvest Bible Ministries on Saturday, 25 February from 6.30pm at Milan Park.

Oncemore Six believes this event will be life transforming.

Speaking about the event’s title, he said: “The concept, Just Jesus, came to me as a result of the pressures and challenges in life.

“We know Jesus is the answer and He is able to do what He said He would do, but because of how hard life is sometimes, we either forget Jesus or doubt His Word.

“These doubts lead to us making wrong decisions and, because we are desperate, we look for help in the wrong places.

“Being desperate then leaves us defenseless and open to be used and abused by people who claim to be helping us.

“So Just Jesus is a reminder that Jesus is enough and His name alone is our refuge.

“This concert will be a show of celebration and adoration.”

Oncemore Six was born and raised in eMzinoni.

Growing up as a pastor’s child, the church quickly became a part of his life and music made its way into his heart.

He served in his local church, Light Eternal Praise Centre, under the leadership of his father, Bishop VJ Six.

He became a leader in the music ministry at the age of 16 and his praise and worship team was called Power of Praise.

“This has been a journey of no return and is not easy, but is worth it.

“In the past years I had the privilege of sharing the stage with the giants in the industry, such as Past Phil who has played a major role in my ministry, Past Solly Mahlangu, Tebs David, the late Sfiso Ncwane, Israel Mosehla and many others.

“At the age of 24, Tebs David introduced me to the industry and to the media with his album No More.”

Oncemore Six is currently working on releasing his debut album.

Tickets for the concert cost R100.
