Disabled man from eMbalenhle writes another book to inspire others

Lucky Skhosana, a passionate entrepreneur and community leader from eMbalenhle, will launch his second book this weekend.

Rising Beyond Limits follows Skhosana’s inspirational debut book titled My Disability is My Ability. Born with cerebral palsy, Skhosana has never allowed his condition to define or limit his destiny.

Instead, he has transformed adversity into purpose and is now using his voice to uplift others living with disabilities.

“Rather than being held back, I turned every challenge into motivation. I wrote these books to show the world that even when life says ‘you can’t,’ you still can,” explained Skhosana.

Skhosana said copies of his first book “sold like sweets” and have been in demand since its publication.

“I wrote the latest book because many people are motivated by the written word instead of hearing a story.

“A book is something one will always have, and when difficult times arise, it is easy to read and be inspired.

“My vision is to engage the Department of Education to use my books in schools to inspire and motivate learners not to give up.

“Regardless of their circumstances, they need to soldier on; their circumstances or home background should not be an obstacle in the pursuit of their dreams,” said Skhosana.

Skhosana said professionals in different fields of life want to work with him to build a better society through motivation, inspiration, and hope.

He will launch his new book, Rising Beyond Limits, at Saxona Coffee in Secunda on September 12.

“This is more than a book launch – it’s a celebration of dreams, resilience, courage and believing in yourself,” said Skhosana.
