Mpumalanga Fashion Week is back with a bang
Local models are invited to auditions on Saturday, 3 February.
The organisers of the Mpumalanga Fashion and Design Week invites models to auditions that will be held at eMbalenhle Sasol Club on Saturday, 3 February.
This year the fashion week will be celebrating its first anniversary.
The organisers promised fashion lovers there will be more local and international designers showcasing their work this year.
The fashion week will be held at Mall@eMba on Saturday, 3 March from 6pm to 9pm.
Standard tickets cost R80 and VIP tickets R150.
The theme is a spring and summer collection.
Mr Samuel Mara, organiser, said more designers from all over the province will participate and that they have a new partnership with some leading fashion brands in Mpumalanga.
“We promised people at our last show that we will bring the event to where people are this year. We have kept our promise. To mark our first anniversary, we will have special awards for the best designer and model. We urge local designers and sponsors who wish to participate, to contact us at aftv.sa@ gmail.com.
“We encourage models to come for the auditions, because this is becoming a big platform for them and we would love to have local models.”
