Load shedding unlikely says Eskom

No one would be called too inquisitive when wondering if electricity supply will safely see us through the winter.
According to an Eskom press release of 3 May, their power system remains resilient.
The utility giant reiterated its commitment of keeping the lights on despite low coal stockpiles at six of its power stations.
They have implemented plans to manage a shift in plant performance and coal stock levels, making load shedding unlikely.
According to them, their resilience was evident in March following a number of plant breakdowns and units on scheduled maintenance and they expect several units to be back on line before the end of the month that will further strengthen the power grid.
