Highveld Christian College in Secunda collects food for a good cause
The school which only has 100 pupils took two weeks to collect the food.
SECUNDA – As part of their Christian outreach program, learners from the Highveld Christian College collected dog and cat food for Feral Watch & TNR.
The school which only has 100 learners took two weeks to collect the food.
The donation of food was handed over to Ms Nicolette van Zyl of Feral Watch & TNR.
Feral Watch & TNR is a non-profitable organisation that has a team of seven volunteers who do daily feeding of colonies as well as adoptions and assist in animals that need medical attention.
They currently see to ever-growing colonies with around 400 plus cats around the Teks area.
This is without the additional fostering homes that take care of 80 felines which include kittens.
