Police investigate murder and culpable homicide after accident
While they were driving on the R23, they collided with a truck and the woman, who helped to load the deceased, died.
Standerton Police are investigating a case of murder after three people died in an accident on R23 Road, near Standerton.
One person was injured and admitted to Standerton Hospital.
The office of the provincial commissioner of police issued a statement on November 9, saying intensive investigation by a team of detectives proved that the couples were having a party in one of the couples’ flat.
According to the statement, the second couple allegedly argued and the 31-year-old boyfriend stabbed his 33-year-old girlfriend.
The woman died and the other couple assisted the boyfriend to load her body into her vehicle, with the intent to conceal the body.
While they were driving on the R23, they collided with a truck and the woman, who helped to load the deceased, died.
Her boyfriend was critically injured and transported to hospital.
The 31-year-old boyfriend of the deceased woman also died.
Police are investigating cases of murder and culpable homicide.
