A freaky full-moon Friday

JOBURG - The last time the 13th fell on a Friday, as well as a full moon, was in 1919. Only the younger generation will see it again in their lifetimes.

If you’re superstitious, we’d advise you lock your door and draw the curtains.

Black cats, werewolves and witches could be out in full force in celebration of today’s freaky date.

Friday the 13th, an auspicious date for some and unlucky for others, falls on a full moon too.

And the full moon in June is known as the Honeymoon in Europe, begging the question, will relationships experience some magick today?

We’ll have to see whether anything supernatural does indeed make headlines.

It is, however, a special confluence today, which won’t occur again until June 13 2098.
