Pedestrian knocked over in Horison
Pedestrian accident on Ontdekkers early on Thursday morning.
On Thursday morning (25 September) a pedestrian was knocked over by a motorcycle in Horison.
At around 5.30am Netcare 911 paramedics and other medical services responded to the accident on Ontdekkers Road. Upon their arrival they found that a pedestrian had been knocked over by a motorcycle.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the pedestrian ran in front of the motorcycle,” said Santi Steinmann, Netcare 911 spokesperson.
“The biker (46) was found laying on the road in a serious condition, while the pedestrian was found in a critical condition.”
Steinmann says both men were treated on scene and later were transported to hospital for further medical care.
“Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.”
