Mugabe kin found dead on campus in Roodepoort
Neither Monash South Africa nor the Zimbabwean consulate in South Africa has commented on the death yet.
The Honeydew police confirmed that an inquest docket has been opened following the body of a Zimbabwean student being found on the Monash South Africa (MSA) campus, the Roodepoort Northsider reported on Sunday (16 November).
The body of Takudzwa Wesley Goronga, a final year IT student at MSA was found in a closet in his student residence adjacent to the campus on Wednesday . His age is unknown to theĀ record. It was confirmed that the student was a nephew of Zimbabwe president, Robert Mugabe, the Roodepoort Northsider reported.

Warrant officer Karen Jacobs of the Honeydew Cluster police station saidĀ that the matter is currently under investigation and information relating to it has been deemed highly sensitive.
Jacobs said that police do not suspect foul play.
A memorial service was held for Goronga in his hometown of Marondera, Zimbabwe, where Mugabe addressed friends and family on Saturday 15 November. He referred to his nephew’s death as a “mystery”.
