The grounds of Noordheuwel High School played host to the primary school edition of the Prestige athletics competition.
Laerskole Florida and Roodekrans, Weltevredenpark Primary School, Laerskool Krugersdorp-Noord, Laerskool Randhart from Alberton and Laerskool Hennopspark from Pretoria were all competing.
There were more than 100 different items on the day.
Events such as javelin, discus, shot put, high and long jump were on full display as the athletes fought hard to make their school and parents proud.
This prestigious event is form part of the run up towards this months district athletics.
