Video: Body fits description of missing woman

Police: The family will be required to do an identification.

Police have stated that the body found on Tuesday morning in Elandsvlei fits the description of the estate agent who went missing yesterday.

The body was found at approximately 6.45am on Tuesday, 31 May, by school children passing by, Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein Police said.

Hanle Lategan, a 52-year-old estate agent, went missing in Krugersdorp last night.

Her vehicle was found in front of the Krugersdorp Private Hospital and an attempt was made to withdraw money from her bank account in Krugersdorp.

“The family will be required to do an identification to confirm that this is the missing woman,” Ernst said.
