Two male suspects accused of the murder of Ruimsig Re/Max real estate agent, Hanle Lategan as well as two other murders in Krugersdorp area appeared in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court on 6 June.
Roodepoort Northsider reported on Friday that a 29-year-old suspect was in custody. Randfontein SAPS communications officer, Captain Appel Ernst said that the suspect, Christian Kruger together with a second suspect, Fabian Luff (36) briefly appeared in court. “The case was postponed for formal bail application on 14 June,” said Ernst.
The Cluster Commander of West Rand, Major General Anna Mateisi expressed her appreciation towards the investigation team. “The team’s unrelenting investigation yielded positive results. The Krugersdorp community can rest assured that the SAPS will leave no stone unturned in these murder investigations,” said Maj Gen Mateisi.

According to various other reports, a 19-year-old suspect was also questioned over the weekend however, was since released from custody.
