The Queen Butterfly Foundation will be hosting a Golf Day on 18 October. The event will be held at the Ruimsig Country Club, with the fee for a four-ball being R2 000.
The money raised from the golf day will be going towards the Foundation, which is a stimulation centre for children with severe mental and physical disabilities.
The Foundation worked hard this year to ensure the community is aware of it and can offer assistance where possible. Last month, the Foundation entered into a partnership with the Dorljota Taxi Association, starting off with a Casual Day.
The Foundation, which is currently based at the N.G. Kerk in Kloofendal, is working towards having its own premises. For more information, contact Samantha Nel on 073 790 9408 or emailĀ sam.queenbutterfly@gmail.com.
