Free business workshop at Florida Library

Always dreamed of being an entrepreneur with your own successful business? Here is your chance to take the first step in realising that dream.

The Florida Public Library, in partnership with the Jozi Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Hub, is presenting a free business workshop on 23 November. It will take place at the Florida Library, corner Church Street and Third Avenue, Florida, from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Sonto Masilela will present the first part, on crucial first steps to start a business, which will include the following topics:
– Entrepreneur on the move
– Qualities and characteristics of successful entrepreneurs
– Entrepreneurial myths
– Advantages and disadvantages of being an entrepreneur
– Steps to take to become an entrepreneur

Janine Wright will present the second part, on access to funding, and will include the following topics:
– Process of funding
– Requirements of funding
