National Forget-Me-Not Day

Reconnect with your loved ones on #NationalForget-Me-NotDay

10 November is National Forget-Me-Not Day – a day to remember and reconnect with friends and family not seen regularly.

This day was created to get in touch with long-lost friends or family members by making phone calls, writing letters, or sending emails, e-cards or flowers. You can also use the opportunity to arrange a get-together to catch up. You don’t always realise just how important it is to let someone know you are thinking about them.

This day even has its own special flower, the Forget-Me-Not, which is also the official state flower of Alaska.

To celebrate this day, take some time to let your family and friends know just how important they are to you. Make some time time in your everyday schedule and show them you are thinking about them.
