Roodepoort Police and Metro Police conduct operation

More than 100 officials take part.

The police is currently conducting a multi-stakeholder operation in Matholesville.

The operation kicked off with a parade on Koeberg Street in Witpoortjie at 9am this morning.

The team involved in the operation consists of 24 Roodepoort Police members, 32 Metro Police members, 49 City Power employees, 18 Joburg Water employees, six Home Affairs representatives and four Region C representatives.

The aim of the operation is to remove illegal water and electricity connections and arrest illegal immigrants.
