Child airlifted after being knocked down by taxi
Circumstances surrounding accident unknown.
A child, believed to be seven years old, is in a critical condition after being knocked over by a taxi on Oranje Street in Witpoortjie this past Friday (9 March).
At approximately 3.40pm, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident and found a child with serious injuries.

The patient was airlifted to a nearby hospital by the ER24 and One Plan Medical Helicopter for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known, but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
