Centre management responds to robbery

On Friday, 3 August, a group of armed men stormed the Hi-Fi Corp store in the centre and robbed cashiers and customers.

 

Lifestyle Crossing Shopping Centre management has indicated that they have given their full support to the affected store following the business robbery last week.

On Friday, 3 August, a group of armed men stormed the Hi-Fi Corp store in the centre and robbed cashiers and customers.

The suspects were said to have fled with money from the tills, customers’ belongings and items from the storeroom.

Francois Praeg, the facilities/ technical operations manager for the Bentel Group, said, “Yes, we are aware of the incident and full support has been given to the parties involved”.

When asked about security measures taken to prevent such an incident, Francois said, “It is not practice to reveal any measures taken to assist mall management and tenants”.
