“So we survived a shooting [tonight] last night at our favourite place, The Irish Rock on Christiaan de Wet Road, during quiz night.”
“Apparently there was a brawl in the bar area. The guy left after being forced out by staff, but came back 20 minutes later and fired off two rounds right by the front door, and sped away. Never been so scared in my entire life,” she said.
She also disclosed that the perpetrator left in a green Citi Golf.
Teresa said the matter was reported to the police and they have managed to locate the perpetrator’s vehicle. However, she could not comment further.
