Police officers keeping fit

The aim was to promote good health and fitness among members.

As a way of keeping fit and healthy while having fun, the Honeydew Police Station hosted police officers from various police stations in the Johannesburg West District to a mass aerobics event on 30 July.

The event was held at the Cosmo City Multi-purpose Centre, where the officers dripped sweat as they participated in a number of fitness activities, thankfully not in their uniforms, but in gym gear.

The aim was to promote good health and fitness among members, according to the Honeydew Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan.

It was mentioned that the event was part of a national programme which will be held every month in different provinces and sectors.
