Cupcakes of hope on 14th Avenue

The colourfully decorated cupcakes attracted shoppers at the shopping centre from a distance and they were happy to contribute to the good cause.

Cupcakes of HOPE hosted the South African National Cupcake Day for Kids with Ccancer at the 14th Avenue Shopping Centre on Saturday 28 September.

The community-driven project is hosted by 89 malls throughout South Africa and 14th Avenue Shopping Centre was one of them.

Jessica Gordon and her daughter, Maia Gordon were also present at the event to give hope and inspiration. Maia is a two-times cancer survivor.

Through the love of baking cupcakes and making a difference in raising awareness and funds for families affected by cancer, the event was a successful one indeed.
