Heavy thunderstorms making their way to Gauteng

The South African Weather Service has warned all residents in Gauteng that heavy thunderstorms are developing. This is predicted for the whole week.

Partly sunny skies are expected for this morning, with maximum temperatures of 26° and a minimum of 15°.

Wind is expected to pick up by the afternoon with speeds ranging between 18 and 23km/h. From 12pm, a 65 per cent chance of rain is predicted, and from 2pm until 12 midnight thunderstorms are predicted.

On 11 November severe thunderstorms are predicted throughout the day.
