Gauteng roaring with thunderstorms
Wind is expected to pick up with a wind speed between 32 and 48km/h
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) announced earlier this week, on 20 November, that the Gauteng area has been placed on Weather watch for the possibility of severe thunderstorms.

Severe thunderstorms have been predicted from Friday, 22 November until Tuesday, 26 November, leading in a chain reaction of heavy down pours and possible flooding, hail and damaging wind. Wind is expected to pick up with a wind speed between 32 and 48km/h.
Warning from SAWS: Severe Thunderstorms are observed over the Randfontein, Westonaria and Merafong City LM’s 30km North of Carletonville, resulting in large amounts of small hail and heavy downpours, moving toward Mogale City LM.
