The community of Little Falls was left trembling with fear on Monday, 3 August when an elderly couple were attacked at their home.
The man was killed and his wife seriously injured.It is alleged that the incident happened on Queen Street, and that the suspects fled through a house in Poortjie Street and ran towards Cascades Road.
One of the suspects was apprehended by Apcan Security and handed over to the police, while the second suspect is still on the run.
Honeydew Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan confirmed that an elderly man had passed away on the scene due to his injuries, and that his wife was taken to Life Flora Clinic.
According to the Honeydew Police, an arrest has been made and they are working vigorously to apprehend more possible suspects while the matter is being investigated.
