A RAM courier vehicle has been left empty in Radiokop, Roodepoort after it was robbed this morning, Wednesday, 9 September.
This bakkie, understood to have transported cellphone parcels, was cornered by the thugs who were travelling a white Nissan X-Trail with registration number DZ 00 RR GP.
“An EC Security guard was about to open the gate when the X-Trail stopped behind the courier van. Its occupants armed with guns got out and robbed it,” the informant explained.
The robbery happened outside Maracana Complex, and the informant confirmed that all the parcels had been stolen.
EC Security reaction units and the police are still on scene.
