Absolut Security has hailed its guard for bravery after stopping thugs from stealing a vehicle in Helderkruin over the weekend.
The post read that the officer noticed suspicious behaviour inside a vehicle and went to investigate. He found the occupants attempting to steal the vehicle.
After they realised that the officer had seen them, they tried to drag him into the vehicle while assaulting him.
Because he was strong, trained and alert, the guard managed to escape them, and foiled their attempts to steal the vehicle.
The video depicts the guard in a red jacket confronting the suspects, and he can later be seen fighting off the assailants before breaking free.
