A Zandspruit community leader has played an important role in ensuring that house robbery suspects were brought to book.

This leader provided information to Honeydew Police who then followed up on the matter and pounced on the suspects.

The spokesperson for the station, Captain Balan Muthan, confirmed the arrests saying, “On 22 September at 2am, the Honeydew Echo Group arrested the three suspects aged 28 to 30 in Zandspruit. This after they committed a house robbery in the early hours of 19 September.”

The recovered items included a computer screen and two cellphones.
