Police engage public about crime and Covid-19

Between 9 and 11 October, a total of 12 people were arrested for various crimes.

From arresting lawless people and shutting down illegal liquor outlets in the area, Honeydew Police have been hard at work.

However, members of the station recently conducted a crime talk to sensitise residents about crime and Covid-19 at the multi-purpose centre in Cosmo City.

The spokesperson for the station, Captain Balan Muthan explained. “Between 9 and 11 October, a total of 12 people were arrested for various crimes. During this period we also conducted operations to reduce crime, and held educational talks to keep the communities and members safe from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and crime,” he detailed.
