Five attempted murder accused appoint new lawyer

However, not much time was spent on the matter as the Public Prosecutor requested another postponement to locate the docket.

The five security personnel charged with attempted murder made another brief appearance in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 2 December under new legal representation.

The heavy-set men, who allegedly assaulted a former guard, Goodwill Dladla in Muldersdrift, changed legal representation to a more mature attorney to fight their legal battle.

However, not much time was spent on the matter as the Public Prosecutor requested another postponement to locate the docket.

The matter was then postponed to 5 February next year. The Magistrate extended their bail and warned them to be in court on the said date.
