A private courier delivery driver was left traumatised on Tuesday, 1 December, after he was robbed in Wilgeheuwel.
BCI Security reported that at around 11.15am, a message was posted on a security group stating that there was a hijacking in progress on Pinotage Street.
The company’s dedicated personnel reacted to the message and arrived on site within minutes to discover the victim in a stable but traumatised condition.
It is reported that he was robbed by four thugs in a charcoal Mazda 3 with an obscured registration.
A case of armed robbery is also said to have been opened by the Honeydew Police.
