School principal dies of Covid-19
According to the school’s statement, Masuku died in hospital that morning of Covid-related complications.
Meridian Cosmo City, an independent school under the Curro group, has started its academic year on a shattering note.
This after the school announced that its well-respected executive head, Mr Vusi Masuku had passed away on Wednesday, 13 January.
According to the school’s statement, Masuku died in hospital that morning of Covid-related complications.

The statement read: “We will miss Vusi more than words can express. He was not just the person who guided and grew our children and the Meridian Cosmo City community, but a good friend to all. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Masuku’s family and friends in this very sad time.”
The school also notified that its acting head will be Mr Lakidu Ngudla, the current head of the High School Phase.
