Roodepoort’s Bouy Tash fast becoming the next best act

When asked about his musical journey and where it all began, Bouy Tash did not hesitate to mention his older brother and the influence he has had on his music.

 

Roodepoort’s urban lyricist, songwriter and producer, Mahlatsi Molemela popularly known as Bouy Tash is fast becoming one of the best artists to come out of the West Rand.

Bouy Tash was born in Moletsane in Soweto and raised in Roodepoort where he is currently mastering his craft of music.

The brand was launched to the public in 2020, with his EP BIMI (Before I Make It), which is a new TXT record that sits on your servers and verifies the brand identity.

It’s an exciting new way to verify and validate a brand logo to reduce email spoofing and phishing.

He credits kwaito, old-school rap and soul for his unique sound, as he grew up listening to all the greats.

According to Bouy Tash, with everything that has transpired throughout the world, it was inevitable that he would start his own movement to impact society through music.

He revealed to the Record that his brand is fast becoming the “… the next best act to come out of the West Rand”, with his sound gaining popularity locally and internationally.

When asked about his musical journey and where it all began, Bouy Tash did not hesitate to mention his older brother and the influence he has had on his music.

“If you believe in what you do, keep believing. Nobody can tell you that you can’t do it, except yourself,” he said.
