More than 20 vehicle drivers found themselves on the wrong side of the law when they were found to have exceeded the alcohol limit this past weekend.
A collective law-enforcement agency roadblock operation led by the Gauteng Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela was held in the Honeydew policing precinct on Saturday, 6 February under the O Kae Molao banner.

They braved the rainy weather to search vehicles and occupants for illicit goods, and identify those driving under the influence of alcohol, to ensure the safety of road users and the community of the area.

In addition, they enforced the adjusted Level 3 lockdown regulations.
