Trinity attains 100 per cent pass rate, despite Covid restrictions

The school achieved 96 per cent Bachelor passes and four per cent diploma passes.

Despite a challenging year that deprived learners of contact lessons, Trinityhouse Little Falls High School class of 2020 managed to rise above the odds and attain a 100 per cent pass rate.

Reflecting on the tough year, executive head of the school, Ben McCarthy said, “Words cannot describe how proud we are of our matriculants of 2020. There’s no doubt that 2020 was unlike any other year in recent memory, or history. Yet through hard work, perseverance and dedication our class of 2020 has shown that not even the Covid-19 pandemic could thwart their hopes, dreams and aspirations for their own futures.

“A year that started with so much promise took a sudden turn when our country went into Level 5 Lockdown. Through all the turmoil, we managed to offer our Grade 12s stability by not losing one academic day. For this I have to thank my staff who worked tirelessly to create online lessons,” he praised.

“I commend their ability to juggle the students from home and at school. A successful matric year like this is characterised by a strong partnership between the school, the students and parents.

Well done, Matric Class of 2020! You can be delighted with your achievements. We are proud of you! #TrinityLionsPride,” McCarthy further said.
