PRA receives a part sponsorship for their upcoming clean-ups
PRA confirmed to the Northsider that the industrial brush cutter will be used in future clean-up projects to be conducted in the area.
Local businesses provide character and individuality to a community in a way that is more like neighbours helping neighbours, and friends helping friends.
However, Honeydew Lawnmowers based in Laser Park, Honeydew proved to be a bit more than that as they benefit their local communities in many concrete and quantifiable ways.
On Thursday 18, February Honeydew Lawnmowers gave a massive discount on a heavy-duty brush cutter to the Panorama Residents Association (PRA) to assist them in their initiative of keeping their area neat and tidy.
PRA Chairman, Dave Baxter collected the brush cutter from Pieter Labuschagne of Honeydew Lawnmowers a day before the association embarked on a clean-up at a property belonging to an elderly lady on Protea Avenue, Weltevreden Park.
“Just a big thank you from the PRA for the massive discount from Honeydew Lawnmowers. The brush cutter will be put to very good use. We also received various different blades for cutting down bamboo and they also gave us an undertaking that they will give a major discount on maintenance for the brush cutter,” said Dave.
