N1 crash: Three injured and case opened against truck driver
Emer-G-Med’s Adrian Wilson told the publication that one motorist and her colleague were transported to hospital to be treated for injuries they sustained.
At least three people, including a paramedic, were injured following a huge freak accident on Friday morning, 26 March on the N1 north near the 14th Avenue off-ramp in Constantia Kloof.
The Northsider earlier learnt that at least five light motor vehicles were involved in this massive collision which saw a truck and a car roll down an embankment, crashing into the palisade fencing of an office park adjacent to the freeway.

It was alleged that the truck driver lost control of the heavy-load vehicle, and collided with other vehicles.

The truck driver is reported to have been slightly injured , according to Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) spokesperson, Xolani Fihla, who confirmed a case of reckless and negligent driving against the truck operator. He said the case was opened at Florida Police Station for further probing.
