WSNBG eager to welcome learners to Kids in Gardens Programme

This programme caters for learners from Grades R to 12 and offers curriculum-linked lessons using the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden as an outdoor classroom.

The Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden’s (WSNBG) Environmental Education Centre looks forward to welcoming learners for the Kids in Gardens Programme.

Schools from the Johannesburg District, West Rand District and surrounds are reminded of the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden Learning Programmes for 2021.

This programme caters for learners from Grades R to 12 and offers curriculum-linked lessons using the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden as an outdoor classroom.

The various biodiversity themes covered aim to support classroom teaching through a practical, fun, and explorative nature-based experience in a botanical garden.

The cost per learner is R12 and teachers accompanying learners (1 per 10 learners) do not have to pay. All Covid-19 regulations will be strictly observed.
