Lions Club Wilro Park, Helderkruin Lions Club and Clearwater Cyber Lions set up shop at the mall in the hope of mingling with the community to spread their important message of goodwill. The morning event was also an opportunity to strengthen their partnerships and acknowledge several of their beneficiaries.

Guests on the day included Cancer Association of South Africa, CHOC and South African Guide-dogs Association. Additionally, the Lions collective promoted awareness campaigns for diabetes, blood pressure and paediatric cancer. Clearwater Mall themselves also pitched in, giving away a R500 mall voucher to one lucky young shopper. “It is important that all the clubs work together as it is not just about one club, but giving back to the community as a team,” said Lions Club Wilro Park President, Sandy van Heerden.
