Swing for the fences at the Absolut Security Golf Day for the Wilro Lions

Absolut Security and the Wilro Park Lions Club have partnered to host an exciting fundraising golf day for the Lions' projects.

As the temperatures continue to drop, maybe the pick-me-up everyone needs is a day of fun and exercise in the little bit of sun that remains. The Lions Club of Wilro Park is one of the most active non-profit organisations in Roodepoort, and every bit of money they raise goes into the projects they do – from building houses, to feeding community members and making support packages.

This year, the Wilro Lions have been offered help by Absolut Security to host their fundraising Golf Day. The club and security company are inviting residents and businesses to either sponsor a hole, or play a game of golf with their friends to help the Lions raise the money they need for their outreach projects. Even though Absolut is heavily involved in hosting the golf day, all of the money raised will go to Wilro Lions initiatives.

The Golf Day will be hosted at the Eagle Canyon Golf Club on 2 September, so there is a lot of time to prepare.
The game will be played as a Four-ball Alliance with a Two-to-Count scoring system. A four-ball ticket includes a drink and meal at the halfway house, as well as dinner. If you will have any other guests at the dinner other than your team, a booking needs to be made.

• Four-ball passes are being sold at R3 500
• Sponsoring a hole will cost R4 500 and includes a four-ball pass
• Golf carts can be rented for R450
• Tee-off will be at 10:30
