Libraries closed until July 11, but digital library worth exploring

Perhaps not as popular as bars and restaurants, libraries will also be closed during government’s 14-day attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus. “In terms of the Government Gazette Notice in relation to lockdown Level 4, the public libraries of the City will be closed from June 28 until July 11, 2021. Please make use of our online services,” stated Director of Library and Information Services, Nobuntu Mpendulo.
While the smell and feel of swapping pulp in the quiet sanctuary of a library will be suspended, technology still holds an infinite collection ready to be browsed through.
