BEPR in need of a sponsor

Black Eagle Project Roodekrans (BEPR) is looking for a sponsor to fund the printing of 2 000 newly developed pocket-size information booklets.

According to BEPR, the cost to print the 2 000 booklets is R18 000 (approximately 1 350 USD) and all funds from the sales thereof will go to the BEPR to help with conservation, monitoring, and educating the public on the iconic black eagles.

Members of the community who would like to assist, or those who have questions are advised to email BEPR at info@blackeagles.co.za.

On Thursday, July 1 the project posted photographs of the 2021 chick on their Facebook page.

According to BEPR, the chick is now about 33 days old and is doing very well as it is regularly fed by parents Makatsa and Mahlori.
