Donate blankets to children in need

Community members can drop off blankets at the emergency service, and they will hand them over to Bethany House Trust.

Quick Response Emergency Services is collecting blankets for the Bethany House Trust in Krugersdorp. Blankets can be dropped off on the corner of Hendrik Potgieter and Fredenharry Roads in Strubens Valley on July 10.

Owner of Quick Response Services, Lehohonolo Mpeko said they are aiming towards building community-based services. “With the harsh winter season, we wanted to see how we can assist the community. We went to a children’s home and asked them what they needed. We are doing what we can to help those in need, and ask the community to assist us.”

Residents and businesses are urged to drop off blankets on the day between 10:00 and 15:00, and to comply with Covid-19 regulations.
