According to Yellow For Survivors, the purpose of the walk is to raise funds and essentials, and hand over 67 hampers to the Baby Moses Sanctuary in Roodepoort.

On Sunday, July 18 Leilani Kuter and other Yellow For Survivors supporters will be walking 67km in the Little Falls area for Nelson Mandela Day.

They will walk 10 laps of 6,7km, so they will be walking for approximately 12,5 hours, starting at 05:00 at the Curves Gym in Strubens Valley Shopping Centre and finish at the Super Spar Retail Crossing.

According to Yellow For Survivors, the purpose of the walk is to raise funds and essentials, and hand over 67 hampers to the Baby Moses Sanctuary in Roodepoort.

Super Spar Retail Crossing will be donating 150 boxes of milk, and Curves Strubens Valley offered to partner to collect essentials such as toothpaste, soap, a toothbrush and toilet paper.

For a donation of R67, Yellow For Survivors will be able to purchase these items on donors’ behalf in order to make up 67 packs for the children.

Members of the community who would like to make donations are advised to contact Leilani on 071 883 3346.
