Bike stolen out of garage

The resident is asking the community to help him find his prized motorcycle after it was stolen.

A black Yamaha motorcycle was stolen from a property in Kromdraai on August 4. Gregg Goosen, owner of the bike, said he was completely flabbergasted because the steering wheel was locked as well as the disc locks. “It’s unbelievable! We didn’t hear anything. The bike was gone when we woke up. I am not sure if they carried it because the front and back wheels had disc locks on them. There were scratches on my car and my wife’s.”

The bike in question is a Yamaha YZF-R1 with black with gold wheels and registration ZBN 941 GP. Goosen described it as his pride and joy. Unfortunately the perpetrators did not leave any visible evidence on the scene. The residents said the bike cover had been taken off and half a disc lock had been broken. “They also took a motion detector light.“ Goosen, who was clearly perplexed added that his scooter was right next to the bike and the thieves left is untouched

A case had been opened at the Krugersdorp Police Station. Community members are urged to come forward if they have any information on the bike or its whereabouts.
